True Statement. As guys get older, with kids we look at practicality instead of new hotness.
Makes you realize how old we are getting.
I knew I was getting old (and practical) when my "dream car" was a Saturn Vue. By the way, I LOVE my Vue! lol
Ah everyone knows the coolest middle-aged guys are riding motorcycles, not driving cars... ;-)
Kara, I am back but my email addresses are gone. Email me and I will keep you company.
I know what you mean. *sigh*
Sure, I still want my Mustang, but the practicality of having one with a teenage driver in the house....Psssshhhh!
You know, cars never meant that much to me. As long as I didn't have to buy the dude gas, or push, I wasn't picky. And the guys in the fancy cars were jerks! Here's to the soccer dad!
I'd rather spend time with someone who is focused (sorry, couldn't resist) on preserving precious natural resources and respecting the world around us. People who wave their superiority in the faces of others - the classic Jag perspective - are yawningly boring.
Besides, the Focus with a 5-speed manual and a sunroof is a terrifically fun little car to zing around on a summer's day. I've had my most enjoyable rental car experiences in focii.
And a Yaris. Damn neat little vehicle!
